**_Now Hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Machine Technicians_** **Job Title: Machining Technician** **Job Description** Set up and operate various machines in both secondary and primary operations across all manufacturing departments. Responsibilities include loading raw parts into machines, unloading finished parts, deburring and grinding finished parts, and conducting visual inspections. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate standard and specialized machines according to work orders and set-up procedures. + Assist in the setup and operation of new machines added to assigned departments. + Check parts with standard gauges or precision measuring instruments and submit for inspection as required. + Ensure proper machine functioning and instruct operators on procedures for producing parts that meet specifications. + Perform SPC Charting as required. + Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area daily. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine operation, inspection, and deburring. + Proficiency with measurement tools. + Knowledge of production and machine operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Availability for 1st shift (4am-12:30pm) or 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am). + Ability to assist in machine setup according to work orders and standard procedures. **Why Work Here?** This position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401k matching program, and paid holidays and vacation when taken direct. **Work Environment** The work environment is a machine manufacturing shop with a focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workspace. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
